Our Last Few Days

We've made it! Well, to our first stop anyway, at my mom's house. Now that I can finally sit down with my computer, I thought I'd tell you what we've done.

On Friday and Saturday we drove around the island one last time. We took some photos, stopped for lunch at a favorite restaurant and a fried banana at a road-side stand. We chatted about how we'll miss the ocean and about our favorite places around Hawaii. It was a good time!

Back at the hotel, we packed all our stuff... somehow. We've bursting out of our suitcases, but we managed it! We couldn't pack anymore bags because we had to be able to fit in my car once we got to LA.

Sunday morning, bright and early, we were off to the airport. Penny did awesome on the plane (only pooped on her jammies, of course) and it was a fairly quick flight, or felt like it. Once we landed in LA it was a mess. We ended up on the wrong shuttle and then had to wait for another. Oh, I was so tired and hungry. But once we got there it was better. We had a good dinner and relaxed with Netflix on Brandon's iPhone.

Today we were off again! After breakfast, we got a town car (fancy fancy!) to take us to the pier to pick up my car. Then we got gas, stopped at Wal-Mart and started our drive to Phoenix! The drive was over 6 hours long, with a couple stops for lunch and to feed Penny, but here we are. We'll be here for a few days visiting my mom, sister and niece, then it's off to our next stop. Gotta love moving!
