Day 10: A Childhood Memory

Nope, no baby yet. I hope I didn't get anyone's hopes up when I didn't post yesterday! Brandon hijacked my computer for most of the day (I had serious withdrawals... but really, we have 4 computers and we both have to use mine? Boo.) We also spent some time together, like we should! Went and saw a movie, The Descendants, which is set in Hawaii and very good. Then we got Thai takeout. Yum.

I'm working hard to try and flip this baby around, but it's getting stressful. My anxiety is high. I'm trying my best to remain relaxed because stressing isn't going to help anything, but when you're facing a c-section that you never really planned for (except in an emergency case), then it gets a little tough. I have my good moments and bad. Still trying to keep my chin up and think of the ultimate goal: a healthy baby.

Soooo... back to my photo challenge! Today is...

Day 9: A Childhood Memory

I honestly had no clue what to do for this one at first. I'm glad I had that extra day to think about it! It's not like I'm near where I grew up, so I couldn't take photos of that place. But then I remembered, I have a bunch of stuff from when I was a kid. I decided to take a photo of my two most cherished childhood possessions.

Meet Ted.

He's a beat up white bear. He was probably fluffy once, back when he was given to me sometime in my first year of life. I brought him everywhere. I used him as a pillow (he's very flat now). He's missing lots of hair and part of an ear because of a dog we once had. But he's still my favorite bear!
 In second place is Frugi.

He's a frog who eats fruit (see the name? Haha). He's filled with beans. I think my aunt made him, I dunno, I've had him for so long. You can see some of the stitches on him from numerous holes - he's been through a lot. My mom stopped offering to stitch him up after awhile so I learned to sew. He's survived this long!
And yes, that is a little M16 beside him. It goes to a GI Joe :P

These are my buddies. I hope our little baby has her own little buddies too!
