35 Weeks!

How Far Along: 35 weeks, 5 weeks to go!

Size of baby: Baby S is over 18 inches long, the size of a honeydew melon, and weighs about 5 pounds.

Weight Gain/Loss: I'm weighing in at 164 (well, 163.6 today, but it might be a fluke). I feel pretty good about that!

Body Changes: Nothing more than the usual.

Gender: It's a GIRL!

Movement: Since the beginning, this baby has liked to hang out on the right side of my belly. I feel more rolls than anything else now. Like always, she's most active in the morning and then right after dinner.

Sleep: I've given up on good sleep. Most nights, I do pretty well, but I'm waking up a lot trying to find a good position. My arms fall asleep. My legs, shoulders and even ears hurt. I hate sleeping on my side!

What I'm looking forward to: Maternity photos this weekend!! As long as the weather cooperates!

Cravings: I had a sudden craving for corn bread last night...

Symptoms: Some mild Braxton Hicks. Slight swelling. Back pain. Anxiety over being so close!

Best Moment This Week: Finally washing stuff. I know, it isn't a shining best moment, but I feel so accomplished now. On Monday, I did 3 loads of laundry - two of baby clothes and one of baby items (blankets, cloth wipes, etc.) Yesterday, I finally washed our cloth diapers! The prefolds, I washed and dried 3 times to prep them. Then I tossed in a load of the other diapers, luckily only having to do that once. Everything is all packed away :)

I'm slowly working through our baby junk room and finding places for things. Like I said last week, I want to be as ready as I can by 36 weeks. It'll just be easier than way, in case for some reason my body decides to go into labor early. I hope it doesn't!

I've been taking photos of myself since 6 weeks. Looking back, I now can never say that I was fat lol. Check out what has happened between 6 weeks and 35!
I took photos of my bare belly up until Brandon got home, then decided that I liked the clothed ones better. And yes, I was in my jammies. So comfy :P

Look at that growth!
