Socializing and Shopping

It's the beginning of the month, and you know what that means! Our cash envelopes get replenished. For some reason, we get a little buy-happy the first week and head out to get the stuff we've been putting off for lack of funds. Darn budgetting ;).

Unfortunately for me, I'm nearly finished with my personal spending money. I guess sewing costs more to start up than you would think! I needed to buy a cutting mat thing and a cutting tool and some more pins and fabric... and yeah. I had to make some decisions and put some stuff off until next month!

This week has been filled with plenty of shopping and socializing. On Tuesday, I spent the morning with my friend Bonnie Jean and her two kids browsing around Simply Organized. Oh, I love it there! I came back with a grocery shopping list, which I needed. Then Wednesday, I was out with Sarah buying fabric and diaper bags. Thursday I bought a couple things at the thrift shop, and that evening had our first coffee group in a long time. (It was fun, by the way! The new battalion commanders wife is real nice!)

Yesterday saw Brandon and I out again, yes, shopping. We went to Target but left empty handed - they still haven't gotten the breast pump I want in stock! Then we got cat food at Petco. Then we went to Wal-Mart, where I got sewing stuff and he got oil change stuff. Busybusybusy.

Oh, and tomorrow we're headed to the big baby expo downtown. I'm super excited! I wonder if we'll buy anything?

Anyway, this week has flown by and I'm happy for it. It was so nice to get out of the house and talk to people other than my boys (who I love, but a couple of them only bark or meow at me... bad conversationalists).
