Day One Hundred Sixty-Five

Even though I was exhausted last night, I slept kind of funky. My night was full of weird dreams and tossing and turning. Blah!

But in the morning, I had stuff to do! First I wrote for half an hour, a new writing goal for myself. It went well! Then I showered and headed off to Christina's house because we were going to the Farmer's Market early. In between all this I tried to speak to Brandon, though because of a storm his internet kept cutting out. :(

At the Farmer's Market I got a breakfast burrito, some cherry tomatoes and some cranberry-curry cream cheese. Yeah, it sounds weird, but it's delicious! Then we headed back to her house. Her family is coming in for Christmas so I promised I would help her clean. So we cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned some more! I'll tell you what, that house looks great.

We took a break halfway through to battle the crowds at the outlet malls. We wanted to get our free monthly Godiva chocolate before all the holiday events began! We both got the Candy Cane Truffle - yummy! Then we went down the shops a bit and stopped at Charlotte Russe, my weakness. I bought the cutest tank top and long-sleeve shirt for my trip home for only $13 together, and then went back to buy these fingerless knit gloves for $6. They are so cute!

The day ended with us passing out on the couch with a clean house. I left sometime after that, making a "quick" stop at the commissary (it was packed! Geez, it's not even payday weekend) to get some cereal, apples and bagels, for my cream cheese of course. Back home, I put in some laundry, caught up on my internet activity, and caught up on DVR'd shows. Oh, and I made fried rice with turkey for dinner! It was great!

Sorry for the lack of photos today. I didn't take any!

If you have a second, visit Let's Say Thanks. At no cost to you, you send postcards to deployed soldiers! What a great idea!
