Ok, I lied for a sec. The first time I woke up this morning was in the middle of the night when Winston decided to go to sleep on the dog crate. Mind you, this is a metal wire crate... it can't be easy to walk on! Weird cat.
Today I had a list, a long list, of stuff to do. It was nice to have a rainy day to do it in! I began cleaning the house thoroughly (or super-cleaning), starting with the kitchen and moving to the living room. If you're like me, you don't want to come home from a trip to a messy house, right? All the while, I did five loads of laundry, including my sheets. It'll be nice to sleep tonight!
Halfway through I took a break to open my final gift from Brandon while we were chatting online. I wanted to use it, you see!
I can't wait to find out!
It's a steam mop!!
Thanks, Brando, I love you!
And then Winston climbed into the bag and claimed it as his own. I took some photos and posted them on FB with the caption "Can I return this? I didn't ask for this gift!" hehe
So after vacuuming, I used my steam mop for the first time. Wow! It's so easy to use! The only complaint I have is the cord, which for some reason I didn't expect when I wanted a steam mop. Whoops. But even that isn't unmanageable. So yeah. Satisfied consumer, that is me.
I decided to tackle packing a day earlier than I would because... I don't know. It proved to be more stressful than anything! I had an array of suitcases. I packed one, then unpacked and packed another, then repacked the original, and then unpacked it again and packed another whole different one, plus another one. Geez. I think I've figured it out, though now I have hardly anymore room for anything at all. Hm. I'll have to reevaluate tomorrow afternoon.
I did get a little stir-crazy today in my house with only the company of my pets. I took tons of photos of them being cute and posted them to my FB. I got out of the house once to go get some Popeye's because I didn't feel like cooking. It was nice. :)
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post! I'll be showing you my Christmas decorations. ;)
