Day One-Hundred-Eighteen

I was up this morning at 4:30am to drive Jenny to the airport so she could fly back home. Life is back to normal again! I loved having a visitor and it was fun to run around the island, but I was missing my regular routine. I'm a routine kind of girl.

So after the airport I slept a bit longer then went to get fingerprinted for my substitute teaching (which marks 3 times in the last 6 months I've been fingerprinted...). Then I did a quick run by the grocery store. Back home, I turned on some Pandora and cleaned house. It's like a ritual for me whenever anyone leaves, including my husband, that I clean almost immediately. My floors were mopped for a bit too until Dexter came inside with muddy feet...

Oh yeah, by the way, the rainy weather is back again. It was sunny for a good week and a half, thankfully while Jenny was here, but now it's back to crummy weather.

This afternoon I watched Mists of Avalon with Christina. It's our Book Club book this month, but since both of us are wrapped up in this Outlander series, we didn't want to take the time to read the book. Anyway, a 3 hour movie is better than an 800+ page book.

After the movie we headed off to a nearby town for a Blue Star mystery dinner! We had to solve a crime sort-of Clue style. Sadly, we came in 3rd place. :( It was fun though!

Back at home, I watched my DVR'd Glee episode. It brought me back to high school days going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the midnight screening. Ah, to be young and carefree again, huh? ;)
