Day Ninety-Three

Having a deployed spouse has its advantages, like being part of the Blue Star Card program, which handed out free tickets to go see...

So I'm sure you can guess why this post is later than normal. I just got home from a fantastic, awesome, wonderful, loud, crazy concert downtown. First, though, I had to stand in line for an hour and a half to make sure I got the two free tickets - they were only giving them out to the first 24 people there. At 8am. Thankfully, I wake up early anyway, so no big deal! Then the day was spent catching up on TV shows and waiting anxiously to get to the concert.

After a long wait in line, we finally got in and staked out a spot in the amphitheater. We were so much closer than I expected! The pictures just don't do it justice. The opening acts were local bands, Tavana and Kings of Spain. Both of them were actually very good! But then, after a long long wait, Daughtry finally came on. It. Was. Awesome.

Anyway, here are some pictures taken from my phone. I went with Sarah, so head to her blog (G.I. Joe's Wive) sometime soon, she'll probably have better pictures!

  1. Ahh I'm super jealous, I love Daughtry! Sounds like you had a great time, and you deserve it! :)
