Day Twenty-Nine

Hello from Canada!

Currently, I am battling dial-up internet on this old computer, but managing quite well, given the circumstances. I found out that Skype Mobile doesn't work outside the US, so I have no clue how I'll talk to Brandon (I guess FB messenger, but with our schedules, will it ever even work?) Anyway, I'm feeling a bit out of it from lack of sleep, so that news kind of hit me hard. Thanks Verizon...

My flights went well. I didn't cry! Haha. They were just soooo long. The first flight was 8 hours. My back hurt, my neck hurt, I was tired but only slept for an hour or two... Then I had a three hour layover in Chicago, where I discovered the USO. Thank goodness for the USO. It was quiet, clean, had comfy couches and internet. Too bad on my way home I only have an hour and a half...

Today has been an easy day. I got picked up by my Uncle Larry because my Nanny had to bring Grandpa to the hospital (don't worry, he's fine!). So I spent an hour or so at Uncle Larry's house. Showered. Felt better. Then Nanny picked me up to bring to her place. We stopped to get poutine. Yum. I unpacked in the guest room (with the dolls watching me... I wish I could upload photos!) and after some time, ended up taking a couple hour nap.

Now we're waiting for my mom and John (stepdad) to arrive so we can have dinner. I'm hoping to sleep a bunch tonight. Still sad/angry because Brandon was gonna call tonight, but now I bet he won't. Unless he uses his phone card, but he said before he doesn't want to do that. It's only two weeks, right? Being here makes me miss him more!

Ok, this was longer than expected and probably not very coherent, huh? I hope y'all are doing well! I'll let you know how tomorrow goes!
