Day Eight

I'm gaining followers! Hello, new followers! Introduce yourself. :D

Soooo.... goodbye Week One! Only, like, 51 more weeks, right? That makes a year, right? 51 doesn't seem so daunting. I mean, it does, but it doesn't. I can do 51 of a lot of things! This week's thing? I can do 51 sit-ups. Actually, I used to be able to, but now? Probably not so much. Since I graduated college and was no longer in ROTC, I stopped running and doing pushups and situps. Why? Because I didn't need to! I used to do 48ish pushups and 68ish situps per PT test. So yeah, I could do 51 situps.

Today, I'm exhausted again. I got woken up at 6am by another phone call (that's 3 in 7 days...). But it was Brandon, so I can't complain! He's where he's supposed to be. He says he likes Iraq better than Kuwait, haha. He called me a little while afterwards while I was on my walk with Dexter.

Speaking of that!! We were walking & talking, and I pass a park where there's this loose, BIG husky. Yikes. It trots over to Dexter, who freaks out with his tail between his legs. The husky kept following my poor dog and Dexter was snapping at him. Thank goodness there were housing people nearby. I rushed over to them and they helped get rid of the dog. Oh, and then we were walking back home, and a little Chihuahua shows up and starts following us! I can handle little dogs better than big scary dogs. ;)

Tonight I had dinner at Chili's. It was a goodbye dinner for one of my coworkers who is PCSing to Fort Carson. Wah, I wish we were back in Colorado! I love Hawaii, but I super duper love Colorado.

Alright, I'm gonna go back to Skypeing (is that a verb?) with Brandon and choosing which professional photos I'd like to get printed. Don't worry, when I get them, I'll be posting some for you guys. ;)
